Counterpressure aluminum casting is a highly demanding technology. Mastering this technology is a prerequisite for the level of quality demanding by BBS. The use of our own alloy combinations, the precise control of state-of-the-art casting equipment and the subsequent hardening and tempering process produce high-quality cast blanks - the starting material for further extensive processing.
Mechanical Processing
 Correct run-out and balance response present the highest demands, even during the casting process. Nonetheless, the most important properties of vehicle dynamics in run - and two - piece wheels are further optimized through additional milling on a CNC machine. Maximum strength at minimum weight is achieved through the use of rim spinning technology. BBS uses this spinning technology to produce the RC wheels, as well the rim section of the two - piece wheels. Titanium bolts are used to join the finished wheel center and the spun rim section during final assembly.
Surface Finish
Perfection, effectively ececuted. A BBS wheel made with such care and effort produces a shining image in every respect. We make sure this is the case by finishing our surfaces in one of the world's most modern painting facilities. Finished in either brilliant silver or sport silver, each BBS wheel reflects the standards of its manufacture: to accept nothing less than perfection.
