Jetex Exhaust Systems
Standard silencers are almost always based on a baffle design. The baffle plates are designed to slow down exhaust gases, reducing noise and of course power.

Jetex exhaust systems however are based on an absorption design. This involves a center perforated tube encased in wire wool. Exhaust gases are not restricted and noise is kept down by insulation and thick casing of the silencer.

Each exhaust is made using the most up-to-date manufacturing techniques. Tubing is mandrel bent (smooth gas flow), joints are lockseamed and Stainless tips are polished.

All Jetex exhausts have a minimum 50.8mm 2" pipe diameter and in order to reduce the restrictive influence of the catalytic converter, 63.5mm 2.5" pipe work is often used. On the Audi 225hp TT system we use 70mm 2.75"

This means that more power is available through a reduction in back pressure especially in the middle of the revs band where it is of most use, i.e. when accelerating to join a freeway or overtaking slower traffic.

Jetex exhausts have to conform to EC regulations with regards noise levels. As a consequence, Jetex is well known for providing performance exhausts without the added noise. High quality engineering has resulted in sound frequencies that give each exhaust a distinctive sporty note.

Jetex systems come in two materials. Aluminized steel with stainless steel tips and full stainless steel systems.

Jetex Aluminized Exhaust Systems
Each Jetex exhaust is constructed from a mixture of mild and aluminized steel which help to prolong life and resist corrosion.

Each Jetex exhaust has an 18 month warranty* *except those designated for racing use i.e. With “T” prefix part number.

All systems conform to EC noise levels and strict German T.U.V. regulations! Each Jetex exhaust has a unique sound frequency and sporty note.

Jetex Stainless Steel Exhaust Systems
Long Life - Sporty Sound
The Jetex stainless steel exhaust systems are, of course, made from stainless steel throughout, but thanks to a unique blend of metals and special construction, most of the resonance normally associated with stainless steel has been eliminated, leaving only the distinctive Jetex sporty sound. All Jetex Stainless systems have a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.

Why so long you ask?
Although stainless steel doesn't rust in the same way as mild steel, it can still suffer from the elements, and joining stainless components is more complicated than mild steel, since molecular changes can occur when welding stainless steel which weaken the joint and make it prone to cracking.

As a result of this, Jetex manufactures each exhaust in stainless steel with nickel and titanium to avoid cracking. Combine this with the tuning technology that has always gone into Jetex performance exhausts, and you have a unique product that's more than ready to take on the best in the market!

Customer 1 E-mail comment:
" I'm Frank from MTL Canada, who ordered a CVR6 Jetex exhaust at the end of last December, and I told you I would e-mail you back on the impressions." "Well... I'd go for it again! Sound a little louder than stock, sounds a little better than stock (quality of sound) on normal driving conditions but if you floor 1/3-1/2+, it makes a deeper, louder and sweeter growl than stock. Overall, it sounds sweet! Much quieter than my old setup (stock exhaust with a loud muffler). Fits my needs and moreover, I felt a quicker punch on the pedal, mostly 5th cuz I was on highway all the time when I came back. And I had the old exhaust in the trunk (51lbs). How much more power? I really dunno, am not good at that, but I'd say something around 8-10hp at the flywheel at least, if not at the wheels. I really dunno, but I felt it was easier for the flow to get out. Perfect for my Z-Eng. SC too. Maybe there is another exhaust with a better sound, but it would certainly be louder, which I couldn't go for that kind of setup. Overall kit weight is 33 pounds. " Thanks! Frank, MTL, CAD Z-Eng. SCed CVR6

Customer 2 E-mail comment:
"Just had to give a little input here. I got my system on this past weekend, and it sounds GREAT! If anyone has seen the Jetex emblem, it is very fitting...a guy playing a tuba. Low RPM's are a good low rumble and just gets a little higher pitched as the RPM's go up. The sound is just about perfect. No too loud, but loud enough to turn a few heads.

Customer 3 E-mail comment:
"If I can cut in here, I just wanted to say I absolutely agree with what he said. I just got mine installed today, and I couldn't be happier. It is everything I expected. Such a sweet low rumble, and a nice deep tone when you rev it. At cruising speeds it's tame, you'll hardly notice it, and at high speeds it's just perfect. The performance is there, there is definitely a noticeable increase in hp, and a good amount of tq. It got a little more torquey, even though there was more horsepower...
Jetex rocks!
